Ever since I was thirteen, I have been trying desperately to live as a girl. My family seriously opposed my decision and refused to entertain the thought of me being female in any shape or form. After the breakup of my marriage three years ago, I decided that I would do what was right for me. Taking myself to the shops, I purchased some dresses and skirts and started living a new female life. As the divorce was going through, I felt I had nothing to stop me. Yes, my family still opposed my situation, but when they found how much happier I was, they decided to go with it. I even managed to attend the divorce hearing dressed as a woman. -Chris, 53
