I am a strait guy who just came back from the beauty parlor for my weekly wash and set, and am living out one of the greatest experiences of my life. I have been getting a professionally done roller set for over ten years and have a lot of respect for women and what they go through. It's just so wonderful not having to set my own hair anymore, like I had to with those bulky C-clamp curlers. The women at the beauty parlor are as nice as ever. It's really a fantasy come true; not only sitting in the chair and getting fully set in ten minutes, but having the discussions with the women when we're under the hairdryers together is great - or as my mother once said - feeling like one of the girls. I have complete and full respect for women on what it takes for them to get the great hairdos that they have. Gone is the myth that beauty parlors are just for women! -Matthew, 37
