Wife Has Cybersex Business
Q: My wife will not stop her cybersex business. We've been married for five years. I'm planning on leaving her and our child. Am I right to do this? -- Isaac, 60
Dr. Susan: I'm not clear on the details of your wife's business, but if it involves sex and the Internet, and she is doing this without your okay, then it does sound like a deal-breaker. It also doesn't sound like much of an environment in which to raise a child. I assume you've tried to talk it out? Seen a therapist? Let her know that this isn't how you intended to live when you married her? Talk to a lawyer about your rights. Don't walk out on your child even if your wife is impossible to talk to. This is a kid who needs a stable parent.
