Julio Iglesias to receive star on Puerto Rico Walk of Fame
Latin legend Julio Iglesias is set to be honored with a star on the Puerto Rico Walk of Fame.
The Spanish crooner, 72, will head to San Juan for the unveiling ceremony on 29 September (16), returning to the Caribbean island his maternal grandparents called home.
Walk of Fame boss Santiago Villar says, "We are delighted to honor the career of Julio Iglesias, a worldwide talent who is of Puerto Rican ancestry."
Iglesias is the latest star to be celebrated in Puerto Rico - singers Ricky Martin and Chayanne, Hamilton creator and former star Lin-Manuel Miranda, and actors Jose Ferrer, Roselyn Sanchez, and Miriam Colon have also cemented their place in the island's Walk of Fame history.
