Minnie Driver promoting new show Speechless without a voice
Minnie Driver is fighting to keep her voice as she promotes her new U.S. TV comedy Speechless on steroids.
The British actress was given a shot to help her communicate with chat show hosts, and during an appearance on The Talk on Wednesday (21Sep16), she joked, "I may grow a beard."
"They gave me a steroid shot, which basically gives you back your voice for, like, 24 hours!" Minnie said.
The new TV show isn't the only thing the Good Will Hunting star is currently promoting after launching a new home goods collection, called Minnie Driver's English Living, inspired by her mom.
Her mother, Gaynor, helped to create the new line, which will include bedding, window treatments and throws.
The collection debuted on America's Home Shopping Network on 5 July (16).
