Kate Beckinsale to play movie mistress in new Marc Webb drama
Kate Beckinsale is hoping to turn her movie fortunes around by playing a mistress in a new drama.
The British actress has signed on for director Marc Webb's The Only Living Boy in New York, in which she'll romance model and actor Callum Turner's character - as well as his father.
The film, which will start shooting early next month (Oct16), will also feature Kiersey Clemons and Jeff Bridges.
Kate is hoping to bounce back following the disappointment of her latest film release, The Disappointments Room, which opened with just $1.4 million (GBP1.06 million) at the U.S. box office earlier this month (Sep16), thanks in part to a series of terrible reviews.
