DJ Duke Dumont ends gig after concertgoer spits on him
British DJ Duke Dumont made a quick exit during a recent gig after one of the concertgoers repeatedly spat on him from the crowd.
The record producer was in the middle of his performance at Union Hall in Edmonton, Canada, on Saturday (18Sep16) when a heckler from the balcony kept interrupting his set by continuously spitting on the star from his spot in the balcony.
In video of the incident posted online, Dumont is seen saying, "I know you guys paid good money, but I don't get paid enough to get spat on," before apologizing to "99.9 per cent" of the audience for the shortened gig.
Dumont then invited the closing DJ to take the stage and finish out the evening, as attendees booed the rude reveler.
