Injured Loretta Lynn cancels two more shows
Country legend Loretta Lynn has scrapped more concerts as she continues to recover from injuries sustained in a fall at her home earlier this month (Sep16).
The 84-year-old singer pulled out of an annual Labor Day weekend show at her ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee on 3 September (16) because she was in so much pain, and she postponed a show in Kentucky and two concerts scheduled for 10 September and 17 September (16).
Now she had axed her remaining September gigs, including two Texas shows scheduled for 23 and 24 September (16).
Lynn underwent minor surgery and doctors have advised her to stay off the road until she’s full recovered.
The next scheduled date is 8 October (16) in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
On Monday (19Sep16), the singer announced she would be releasing her first Christmas album in 50 years - White Christmas Blue will hit stores on 7 October (16).
