Rapper Kodak Black sentenced to jail time
Rapper Kodak Black has been sentenced to serve 120 days behind bars in Florida after pleading no contest to two misdemeanor drug charges.
The 19-year-old Skrt hitmaker, real name Dieuson Octave, was sentenced on Monday (19Sep16), and he will be credited for the time he spent in jail since his May (16) arrest.
His driving license will be suspended for a year and he has also been ordered to pay court costs.
Octave pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of possession of 20 grams or less of cannabis and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is expected to be released from jail at the end of November (16).
The troubled rapper also faces a criminal charge of sexual conduct in South Carolina after he was accused of committing sexual battery at a Florence hotel in February (16). He faces up to 30 years in prison if found guilty.
