TOPSHOT - This photo taken on September 4, 2016 shows local children with their faces painted, carrying lanterns, marching with older children carrying giant lantern figures around a field, singing, during the 16th annual Lantern Festival in the small agricultural town of Clanwilliam, about 200Km North of Cape Town. Each festival is based on a traditional story from the /Xam San people, who used to live in this region, and who were largely wiped out during the colonial era in the country. The festival, which is organised by the Magnet Theatre Company in Cape Town brings academics and students of fine art, dancing, music, and drama to the small town to teach hundreds of the local children aspects of performance and creative expression. / AFP PHOTO / RODGER BOSCHRODGER BOSCH/AFP/Getty Images
