Lance Bass may be too busy to be shaking his booty right now as he's developing several reality series, but the former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant tells us he's still making time to cheer on his
buddies.
"I've become such good friends with the cast and some of my best friends are still on the show, so it's fun to root for them. Of course, Tivo is my God right now and 'Dancing With the Stars' is on the top of my list."
So far, the former "N'Sync" star has been enjoying what he's been watching. "It's a great cast. I think it's one of the most eclectic casts they've had," he notes. "I loved watching Chuck Liddell. I think he's amazing. He can't dance at all, but it was fun to watch someone really concentrate and try so hard," says Bass of the now-eliminated Ultimate Fighter.
"Mya looks like a professional already. Donny Osmond has a really good chance of winning. He's having fun and being goofy. He's the type of person people love to see on that show. Plus, he's got some moves."
While the show has come under some criticism in the past few seasons about working the dancers too hard, Bass says it's all part of what makes the experience worthwhile.
"You get to tell yourself when it's too much. I think what's great about this show is it challenges you. It's one of the most difficult things you could ever do and you put your body through more pain than it's ever felt," he explains.
"At the end of the day, it's such a challenge to yourself that I think it becomes a positive thing. It builds character and makes you realize if you put your mind to it, you can do anything. I think people come out of this show with a lot more confidence. I think the more you push yourself, the better it is. I think that's what you're supposed to get out of this."
When asked if being on another reality show again is in his near future, Bass responds, "I don't know. 'Dancing With the Stars' was a perfect fit for me, but you won't see me doing 'The Bachelor' or anything like that."
Now, that's a show we would watch! "Can you imagine? It would be good TV, but I don't think anyone needs to get to know me that well."
