A lot of young celebrities often find themselves more involved in
partying than working, but former Disney star Sabrina Bryan tells us she's using her fame to, she hopes, be a role model for young girls.
Being a part of the music group, the Cheetah Girls, which disbanded earlier this year, certainly gave her the opportunity to reach a much broader audience, and she only wants to expand on that as she's currently pursuing a solo career.
"I was fortunate enough to grow up with strong women in my family, who set the bar high for me. They pushed me to reach for any dream that I wanted," recalls Bryan. "Before I had the opportunity to be a Cheetah Girl, I never thought I'd be able to reach out to young girls. Hopefully, I can keep inspiring girls to go for their dreams and to dream big. We're so lucky to live in the country we do and to have the opportunities as young women to make our dreams come true."
In the meantime, Bryan is busy with work as she's recording a solo album. "Because it's going to be just me, I
want to really make sure that it's the music that I want to do. I want
to have a lot of creative control over it so I want to do it the right
way. It's a process I want to take my time with," she tells us. "I
want my music to reflect my love of dance and performance, so it is
definitely music that is positive and keeps your body moving."
