Kristin Cavallari, who first rose to fame with the popular MTV reality
show "Laguna Beach," is back on television in the show's popular spin-off "The Hills." Her addition to the show comes after the departure of her "Laguna" co-star and rival Lauren Conrad, who doesn't seem to be a big fan.
"I saw her at Heidi and Spencer's wedding and we said hello and talked for like two minutes and then she left. That's the last time I saw her," Cavallari says.
While returning to reality TV was a tough decision for Cavallari, who has been attempting to have a real acting career, she says having a break from the spotlight has helped keep her very grounded.
"I filmed my junior and senior year of high school and then I took a break, which came at a very good time. I was experiencing life on my own and I'm glad I didn't have a camera in front of my face then, because I made a lot of mistakes," admits Cavallari. "I've grown up a lot in the last four years, but I'm still Kristin. I'm still the same girl I was in high school. I'm not that different. I think I've just matured and grown up a little bit."
However, that hasn't kept the feisty blonde from stirring up some drama. "It's a TV show. If we all got along and everything was great, it wouldn't be a great show. It wouldn't be interesting. I like to have fun with it and play it up."
